How we started: As an avid sun-lover, tan lines were something that became difficult to avoid. Unable to transition from the beach to evening wear without bright white lines visible became quite unflattering. Creating a bikini for myself and close friends became an opportunity to share the love on a broader scale, so Soltans of Swim was born. Finding patterns and colour choices that range from Class, Sass, Tomboy and Quirky keeps it fun.
What makes us unique: The fabric, the design and the patterns. Soltans of Swim are the only current Australian company to have this material. Each and every pattern is unique, and you will not find it with any other swimwear brand in Australia. All our swimwear is also hand-made by Australians in Australia.
Values and beliefs: We value quality and stand by our product. We prioritise our customer's skin health and will only promote tanning sensibly with sunscreen and avoiding prolonged periods in the sun. We will always encourage regular skin checks with specialised skin clinics. We researched and found a product that has been scientifically designed to almost totally absorb Ultra Violet B (harmful) rays by 92%, allowing Ultra Violet A (less harmful) to be selectively transmitted through the yarn providing a safer tan at 20%.
Why choose us: Other tan-through swimwear may not offer any UV protection in their fabric. Why buy ordinary bikini’s when you can buy one that reduces tan lines for a similar price?
